My Journey So Far...
I'm a developer who is passionate about coding creatively and with purpose. Originally, I started working in the Information Technology sector and gained experience in SQL, TCP/IP networking protocols, Active Directory, and managing Virtual Machines.
Learning about how applications directly influence an organization's productivity and efficiency had piqued my curiosity about software engineering. Since then I have joined Pursuit, a software engineering fellowship and community where I learned how to build web applications and became a Full-Stack Web Developer.
Since then I went on to work for an organization called Thorn, where I have done some of my most empowering and impactful work - building software and tools that defend children from sexual abuse and exploitation across the web.
When I'm not coding, you can often find me enjoying nature, coffee, or working out.
